We've gotten a few handfuls of emails about restoring an iOS 9.3 backup to a device running iOS 9.2. This isn't too surprising since Apple's iOS 9.3 release has had issues on older devices and now seems to be having problems with opening links for some people.

We've made a special version of Decipher Backup Repair that, in addition to repairing problems in a backup, will also make the needed changes to downgrade a backup made with iOS 9.3 into a backup compatible with iOS 9.2. This will work for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch backups.

Here are the links to the custom download of Decipher Backup Repair with the needed changes to make an iOS 9.2 backup out of an iOS 9.3 backup -- this is not the same build as what is linked on our product download pages, since not everyone wants to downgrade their backup :) However, they use the same license code, which you can purchase from our website.
